Desiree Harper’s perfect life as the wife of a high-powered Manhattan doctor comes to a sudden end when her husband says he wants a divorce. To make matters worse, he invokes their ironclad pre-nup, leaving her penniless. Desiree soon finds herself abandoned by her rich friends and moves back to New Jersey to help her father run his struggling bakery. Though Desiree wants nothing more than to return to her high-class life, spending time with her father causes her to see things differently.
