Vice President, Development and Production

Vince Balzano is Vice President of Development and Production for Motion Picture Corporation of America. In this role, he has overseen or assisted in the development of numerous projects, including installments of the CROSSWORD MYSTERIES franchise on Hallmark Movies and Mysteries. In addition to script development, Mr. Balzano is involved with casting, production, and post-production, and travels to location as necessary. Mr. Balzano’s additional responsibilities include sourcing material and talent for future film and television projects.

Before transitioning to creative full-time, Mr. Balzano spent three and a half years working in business affairs, coordinating and executing legal delivery of over 80 hours of in-house productions to domestic and international distributors, and provided logistical support to productions, corporate operations, and the finance department.

Mr. Balzano received a BA from Georgetown University and an MA from USC School of Cinematic Arts.
